CeraVe Facial Moisturizing Gel for acne control is an acne treatment for the face with a BHA/AHA exfoliant made from salicylic acid and beta hydroxy acid (BHA) to help clear acne and prevent the formation of new breakouts, and alpha hydroxy acids (AHA), which is a blend of lactic and glycolic acids, to help smooth and soften the skin. The formula helps reduce the appearance of pores and minimize blackheads. It is also formulated with niacinamide to help soothe the skin and hyaluronic acid to help maintain the skin's natural moisture. CeraVe acne control gel is free from alcohol, fragrances, parabens, oils, and non-comedogenic skincare. It is formulated without drying alcohols like denatured alcohol, often found in topical acne treatments, which can cause excessive dryness. CeraVe acne control gel contains 3 essential ceramides which are naturally found in the skin and make up 50% of the fats in the skin barrier. All CeraVe products are formulated with three essential ceramides (1, 3, 6-II) to help maintain the skin's natural barrier.
